2 People Injured In Morning Shooting In Lawrence: Police

Authorities in Lawrence are investigating after two people were shot on the morning of Friday, Aug. 19, Lawrence Police said on Facebook.

The shooting happened in the area of Manchester Street and May Street, police said. Both victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police believe the shooting was intentional. The investigation is ongoing.
